About

Welcome to Teton MTB

Teton MTB is an online reference for mountain biking on both sides of the Tetons. Teton Valley and Jackson Hole both offer amazing trails for riders of every skill level. The area includes rolling cross-country trails, grinding climbs, buffed descents, technical and rugged backcountry trails, epic all day tours, and extreme downhills with freeride features big enough to challenge the most advanced rider. Eventually, I'd like to have every one of those trails cataloged by means of GPS, photo, and video here on this site so that anyone can access them easily and use the information to plan their rides. Hopefully experienced locals will find the site just as useful as visitors to the area and beginners to the sport, for a place to learn about new rides and share information on current trail conditions and developments.

This is also a place for riders to find useful resources such as a local events calendar containing festival and race dates, links to the local bike shops along with their contact information, links to other bike related sites on the interwebs, and a forum to discuss everything about your bikes, the trails, setup ride meets, list classifieds, and discuss the best place for a beer at the end of the ride.

This site is very much a work in progress, please stand by while it grows. I will be mapping all of the trails in the area by riding them which will most likely take a few seasons to complete. I will post general info, site updates, and added trail pages to the blog as they happen. If you would like to contribute to the site please contact me. I could definitely use some photos of the trails for the gallery and for the specific trail pages. I could probably use some help writing the descriptions for the trail summaries as well.
